As many of you know, the main purpose of the pilgrimage with Chaphur Rinpoche to India and Nepal in April, 2016, is to be present at an unprecedented Long Life Mandala Offering to His Holiness 33rd Menri Trizen Lungtok Tenpa’i Nyima Rinpoche at Menri Monastery in Dolanji and the Treasure Holder of the Teachings of Yungdrung Bön, His Eminence Menri Yongdzin, Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche at Triten Nobutse Monastery.
We are deeply heartened to hear from so many people that they wish they could take the time to go with Chaphur Rinpoche but who cannot do so due to work, family, or other personal obligations. There is still a way you can receive the blessings of participating in this great moment of spiritual practice.
The Gratitude Tenshung Organizing Committee has ordered the construction of a large gold plated statue of Nyammé Sherap Gyaltsen for His Holiness Menri Trizin Rinpoche, a large gold plated statue of Lachen Drenpa Namkha for His Eminence Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, two large gold plated statues of Sherap Mawa Senge, two large gold plated stupas, two gold plated sets of the Eight Auspicious symbols, two gold plated mandala sets, two gold plated Yungdrung Bön chakshing-the hand object of Buddha Tönpa Shenrap, two gold plated monks bowls, two complete sets of brand new monk clothing, and two sets of the complete Kangyur including new covers.
