The Healing Wisdom of Takla Mebar

The Healing Wisdom of Takla Mebar

Takla MebarSaturday, January 2, 2016 5pm-7:30pm

Takla Mebar ( Flaming Tiger Deity), a manifestation of Tonpa Shenrab Miwo, is one of the most important wisdom deities (Yidam) that can bless the practitioner with the power to heal. Takla Mebar’s healing power has been transmitted through the ages in an unbroken line within the renowned Chaphur lama family. Join Chaphur Rinpoche, a direct lineage holder, for the healing empowerment of Takla Mebar.

Rinpoche is currently again on a month long retreat this December to meditate on Takla Mebar with the focus on his healing aspect. His return from retreat will culminate in the transmission of the Takla Mebar Empowerment and healing practice to his students and others on January 2, 2016.

In order to overcome negative forces and the personal, negative emotions and obstacles they create, Tonpa Shenrab Miwo manifested as Takla Mebar and subjugated the evil forces through his compassionate, wisdom mind, transforming them into compassionate and peaceful beings.

The Takla Mebar Healing heals outer poisons and negativities, transforming them into wisdom and positive aspects. This burns away inner negativities and transforms the mind of the practitioner into the clarity of the five wisdoms (Five Wisdoms: wisdom of emptiness, mirror-like wisdom, wisdom of equality, discriminating wisdom, all-accomplishing wisdom). The Takla Mebar practice is especially important at this time of year to cleanse negative obstacles from the past year and bring blessings and prosperities in the new year to come.

Although a lengthy and elaborate practice, Rinpoche will offer this empowerment and healing in a simplified form, so that it is accessible and easy for everyone to practice and benefit. After that you can do Takla Mebar practice even in your daily life.
