We at Gyalshen institute are very honored and excited to host Geshe Nyima Kunchap on October 28th and 29th, 2017 (10:00 am to 5:00 pm both days). Geshe Kunchap is a revered master of Sutra, Tantra and Dzogchen from the Dolpo region of Nepal. He will perform the Bön ritual for invoking wealth and prosperity, Norlha Ched-Gyed Kyi Yangdrub.
He will begin by leading us in the pure visualization of increased wealth and prosperity, followed by the main rite, The Chanted Text For Summoning Fortune, the Yangdrub Khi Choga.
The God of wealth, Arya Zambala, will be petitioned along with his 8 brothers (Ched Gyed). The purpose of this is to summon many kinds of fortune. Traditionally this included the fortunes of storehouse grains, domestic animals and clothing However, for these modern times, we will include whatever type of fortune is needed for ourselves and others.
A great deal of preparations are required for this event, so please register to insure these preparations can accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. We are looking forward to having you join Geshe Kunchap and our Sangha for this auspicious ritual.
Please arrive early. A simple lunch will be provided.

Wealth Vase
These rituals strengthen the force of personal good fortune and good luck by both requesting the assistance of a wealth deity and by restoring any loss of or weakness in our connection to these forces or qualities in our lives.
As a way of anchoring this force of good fortune and good luck, a wealth vase is created which becomes a sacred receptacle for the wealth deity. This wealth vase, or yang bum, is filled with many kinds of precious things, as well as mantras, and is sealed by the lama. This vase can be placed in the home or business. Regular incense or water offering as well as prayer and mantra recitation in front of the vase maintains a connection with the wealth deity.
If you want to acquire a new wealth vase, Gyalshen Institute will provide the necessary materials for you to take one home with you. If you already have a wealth vase, you may bring it to the event for re-empowerment.
Suggested Donation: $35 to receive a small wealth vase at the event. If you can not come and wish to have blessed a wealth vase please contact us. The amount will be $35 plus shipping costs within the US but we will need to estimate the shipping costs. We also have large wealth vases for $50.
