INNER MA GYU TANTRIC EMPOWERMENT
Gyalshen Institute and Yuan Yuan Educational Foundation are pleased to open public registration for the Inner Ma Gyu Empowerment with His Eminence Menri Lopon Trinley Nyima Rinpoche.

The Ma Gyu, or Mother Tantra, is the highest tantra in the Yungdrung Bon tradition, and shares a view similar to that of Dzogchen or Nature Mind. The Ma Gyu is a path of transformation through the cultivation of compassion involving prayers for all sentient beings. It strives for the release of all beings from the bondage of suffering. The heart of the practice focuses on reflection upon three objects: lama, yidam and khandro.
The practitioner visualizes uniting with and transforming into Shenla Okar, Sangchog Gyalpo, and Kyema Otso respectively. The goal of the practice is ultimately to transform ourselves so that we manifest all of the enlightened qualities symbolized by the lama, yidam, and khandro.
Lopon Trinley Nyima Rinpoche is the principal instructor at Menri Monastery in Dolanji, India. Holder of the profound Yangton lineage, which traces its ancestry back to Yangton Sherab Gyaltsen in the 11th century, Rinpoche has graciously agreed to give the teaching and empowerment of the Ma Gyu. A very essential teaching and invaluable for whoever is practicing Ma Gyu, this is the first time that the Inner Ma Gyu empowerment will be given in the United States. In 2011, Lopon Rinpoche gave the first Outer Ma Gyu empowerment in Berkeley. Suggested donation: $125

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Inner Ma Gyu Empowerment event will take place on the second floor of the Tibetan Association of Northern California Center in Richmond, California. We regret that the facility does not have handicapped access at this time. Persons with mobility challenges should be aware that attendance at the event space will require the use of stairs, and there is no elevator.
