This weekend continues the teaching of Shardza’s Heart Drops of Dharmakaya with his Tekchod teachings.  The Heartdrops of Dharmakaya presents Dzogchen teachings very directly “for those of sharp faculties.” In this section on Thegchod, Shardza begins with Shardza’s practice instructions on Dawa Gyaltsen’s five-fold meditation. Beginners will find this a very easy way to approach Dzogchen, and those already familiar with the five-fold meditation will surely enjoy Shardza’s presentation.  Shardza continues with a series of direct introductions on the view, meditation, conduct, and result of Dzogchen.

This weekend on Thegchod teachings from the Heartdrops of Dharmakaya will be very practice oriented. We will begin with a gradual approach to arriving at the nature of our mind using Dawa Gyaltsen’s five-fold meditation.  We will then continue with a series of direct introductions on cutting through to the nature of mind.  In the final session of the weekend we will conclude with teachings on gaining confidence with regard to the nature of mind.

On Sunday, will be followed by a Tsog. You are invited to bring Tsog food  items ready to be placed on offering plates.
