Weekly Dzogchen Teaching and Practice
With Chaphur Rinpoche
Mondays from 7am to 7:45am (PT)
4pm to 4:45pm Central European Time (CET).
We at Gyalshen Institute are pleased to announce that Chaphur Rinpoche will soon be offering a weekly online Dzogchen Teaching and Practice covering the Chaktrid by Dru Gyalwa Yungdrung. Dru Gyalwa’s practice manual (Chaktrid) is quite extensive and contains instruction on the Dzogchen preliminaries (Ngondro), and actual practices ( Ngozhi) about the following: sky-gazing, sun-gazing and dark retreat. In addition, Rinpoche will be teaching from the four auxiliary sections which provide even deeper instruction on the view, meditation, action, and the result.
This is a rare opportunity for you to receive these authentic, precious, Yungdrung Bön teachings. Each week the instruction will be approximately 30 minutes followed by a short session of meditation practice based on what is covered in the text.
This program will also be an excellent opportunity for Tibetan language students to practice by directly analyzing the text in its original language. The handouts will be written in Tibetan.
Teachings will be held on Zoom every Monday from 7am to 7:45am (PT) which is 4pm to 4:45pm Central European Time (CET). Each month registration reminders will be sent to you by email and a new registration link will be provided after you register.
At times Rinpoche may be traveling and unable to teach on Mondays. Should this occur, we will notify you by email a few days prior.
We are very excited about this focused examination of the Chaktrid. It is recommended that you attend all the teachings. But, if you are only able to attend a few, please join us. Whenever you participate, you will be blessed with the essence of each instruction.
Hope to see you soon online!
