We have had many requests from people who live outside the San Francisco Bay area to arrange access to Gyalshen Institute teachings via the Internet. Well, good news! Chaphur Rinpoche has agreed to give a 90 minute webcast during the upcoming The Base: Guidance on the View of Seeing Directly weekend.
The webcast will be on Gyalshen’s new U Stream channel on Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM California time.

This will be our first use of U Stream. We have purchased needed (and expensive) audio visual equipment to support Chaphur Rinpoche’s sincere desire to bring the Bön teachings to those who are at too great a distance to attend in person. Rinpoche has also emphasized that he wants the webcasts to be free of charge.
In future, we may be able to mount other video of events and teachings that have happened in the past, as well as short practice instructions by Chaphur Rinpoche. We are still working on that possibility, which requires time and technical means for production. If you would like to make a contribution to support the purchase of the software and hardware packages to make this happen, we greatly appreciate your generosity.
