The Dzogchen teaching “The Heart Essence of the Dakinis” and The Long Life  Empowerment

May 29-31, 2026, 9am-12pm, PT

 San Francisco Bay Area

In Person and Online

Gyalshen Institute is very happy to announce that His Holiness Lungtok Dawa Dhargyal Rinpoche, the 34th Menri Trizen, will be visiting us  May 29-31, 2026. His Holiness is the spiritual leader of Bön and the Abbot of Menri Monastery, Dolanji, India. Rinpoche  will be teaching us The Heart Essence of the Dakinis as well as blessing us with The Long LIfe Empowerment.

Many of us are already familiar with the Heart Essence Teachings of the Dakinis or Khandros. We have invited  His Holiness to  expand our awareness of the depth of these female lineage teachings to benefit greatly our dzogchen practice.  As you remember, the Khandros of this Dzogchen lineage represented many different countries and cultures in our world.  However, until the present time, there has not yet been a Western woman who has joined the lineage of Realized Khandros. Our attention is powerfully drawn to  Khandro Chozo Bonmo who attained Buddhahood and the Rainbow Body of the great transfer. The challenge to each of us  was expressed clearly by Yongdzin Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche. He called to us  to be inspired by her to  deepen our practice and  to join the lineage of Realized Khandros. By enriching our daily lives  with the practices and awareness taught by the Dakinis, each of us, men and women, are opening our hearts and minds  to the possibility of enlightenment.

Coming very soon  is such a precious opportunity  to host His Holiness and  to receive his teachings and empowerment.  We hope that you will be able to join us in person and be gifted with the blessing of being in his powerful and compassionate presence.

We need to know how many people will be attending in person so that we can make arrangements for adequate space. So,  please register early, if possible,  by March 1, 2026.  We want to  accommodate comfortably all of you who are coming in person.
