Gratitude Celebration Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen, the Second Bön Buddha’s Auspicious Birthday

It is with much joy that we at Gyalshen Institute invite you to celebrate with us Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen’s very auspicious birthday. To express our deep respect and gratitude, we have Invited His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche as well as His Eminence, Menri Ponlop Rinpoche, the Lopon (head teacher) of Menri Monastery in India, and Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, the Abbot of Triten Norbutse Monastery in Nepal, plus eight additional honored khenpos and geshes to speak about the amazing life of the second Bön Buddha.
As you may know, Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen received complete transmissions and empowerments for the entire Bön teachings of Dho (the Path of Renunciation), Nag (the Path of Transformation), and Dzogchen (the Path of Self Liberation). Our precious Bön Buddha also gave teachings and wrote commentaries about each and every sacred Bön text. Today, his writings continue to be the most frequently used commentaries in each of the hundreds of Bön dialectic schools throughout Tibet, India and Nepal. In addition, his ritual texts are utilized by Bön practitioners throughout the world.
This ceremony of celebration and expression of gratitude to Nyammed Sherab Gyaltsen will be on March 4th, 5th and 6th from 7:00 am to 8:30am Pacific Time, 4pm to 5:30pm CET. Each teacher will be speaking in Tibetan and can be accessed directly through Gyalshen’s Facebook page. . Translations from Tibetan into English, Spanish, Polish, and Russian will be available only on Zoom.
