Dear Friends, Sangha and Volunteers,
We at Gyalshen Institute are very excited over new developments in our Tibetan Translation program. We are now seeking volunteers to become a part of our Gyalshen Translation Team. Chaphur Rinpoche is leading this important venture and will be offering group orientation, instructions and supervision both initially and on an ongoing basis to all volunteer participants.
All of us are aware of the critical situations facing all beings in our world today. In response, Chaphur Rinpoche would like to help spread the deeply transformational healing blessings of Yungdrung Bön by making these ancient teachings much more accessible to all interested people worldwide. The first step is to translate the ancient Bön texts from Tibetan into as many languages as possible. To make an important contribution toward this goal, Rinpoche is forming a Gyalshen Translation Team.
Firstly, skilled volunteers are needed to translate Tibetan to English as well as to translate English into as many world languages as possible such as, but not limited to: Spanish, Polish, German, Russian and French. Second, there is a need for skillful editing of these translations. Third, there is also a need for graphic design artists. The goal is to publish each translation as a book and to complete several books by December, 2022.
