May 25 – 10am – 4pm – The practice of Namgyal Yangdrub was taught by Buddha Tonpa Shenrab to his students in order to bring about long life, good health, and prosperity to all. Filled with pieces of precious materials, as well as sacred earth from holy places, the vase is blessed through the ritual of Namgyal Yangdrub. Once the vase is consecrated it should be kept in a clean place where it cannot be defiled. The Yangbum creates a positive atmosphere in the family such as good health, material wealth, spiritual wellbeing and success in other endeavors. Created in tandem with the Yangbum, the Yangdar serves to draw in wealth and prosperity and deposit them in the treasure vase. Traditionally wrapped in 5-colored cloth, the Yangdar is empowered to gather physical and spiritual wealth from the 5 elements. If you already have a treasure vase, please plan to bring it with you so that it may be ritually blessed and re-empowered. If you do not have a treasure vase, please let us know so that we may prepare one for you.
